Site & history.
The 146.760 repeater was the first 2 m repeater put on the air in the Atlanta area. It sits on top of Stone Mountain — Atlanta's famous granite landmark — with the antenna mounted roughly 110 feet up the TV transmission tower. That elevation gives it the widest footprint of any AMRC machine and makes it the natural home for club and emergency-communications traffic.
