The Alford Memorial Radio Club Welcomes all Scouts and Youth Programs


Boy Scouts         Camp Fire Youth         Girl Scouts
This includes Cub Scouts, Webelos, Brownies, Daiseys, Venture Crews, Spiral Scouts, and others we forgot to list.

All Scouts and Youth - under 16 will be admitted in to the Hamfest - FREE of CHARGE.

All Scoutmasters in Uniform bringing Scouts to the Hamfest will be admitted Free.

Amateur Radio Merit Badge Class will be held Saturday Afternoon
from (2:00pm - 5:00pm) - Additional Radio time will be set aside on Sunday if needed to complete the Merit Badge requirements. Scout Radio communications will occur all day Saturday, arrive early to secure your time slot.

FRS Channel 1  or 147.555 Simplex.

Special Youth Lunch from 11:00am to 11:45am.

This will be held in the "Youth Lounge"
Youth can register and pre-pay for a $4.00 sack lunch Saturday morning by 9:30 am, or they can bring their own lunch. All are welcome in the Youth Lounge Area.
The Youth Lounge will double up as the operating room for the special event station but may have a "privacy curtain." It will basically be a place for youth to socialize with other young hams.
