The first is the PAGING SOP , designed to work like our NTS format of messages.
By using this SOP everyone knows who sent the page, even if their pager information was garbled, as sometimes happens.
The second is the PAGE-ALL SOP, and will address the problem of trying to page everyone with Pagers, Cellphones, Two-way pagers, and those who wish to recieve an E-mail of the pages that go out. You can even send the page out to your Reflector. This can now be accomplished with one page sent out to the Georgia ARES Paging System.
Below is a sample message sent by KF4VBR for KO4WX.
By using this format, even if the message is garbled you can still normally read the subject line, and at least know who to contact.
First you must have a Website E-mail box that can be turned into a Forwarding E-mail box. Most can be setup this way.
If you do not have such a box available contact
KF4VBR and he will help you get one.
Set this mailbox up with an address like:
Then add the addresses of the Cellphones, Two-way pagers etc. one per line to the list.
NOTE ! Most Forwarding E-mail boxes only allow 10 addresses so you might have to setup
more than
one box and link them all together in the first forwarding box.
